![]() ![]() ![]() I should mention that the updated driver does work correctly when included in a new OS build. Should I also be doing this on other drivers? Perhaps Winsock, NDIS? I guess I'm not sure exactly from the debug logs which ones interact with the Bluetooth driver. I've tried calling IOCTL_SERVICE_START and IOCTL_SERVICE_REFRESH on BTD0:, So my question here is - Can someone tell me what needs to be called to refresh the various behind the scenes things so that WinCE can start using the update BT driver. Also the BT PAN BTAPN1 adapter does not mount and so I can't use a PAN service either. eg when trying to start an RFCOMM service the error comes back that WSAStartup has However when I load theĭriver there is something not happening in regard to registering with various windows services that would happen if it was the default driver during the OS boot phase. ![]() Using Remote Process viewer it shows up under the Kernel process.Īnyway I can try to mount the newer btd1.dll as BTD0: using ActivateDeviceEx and start the BTSVC service myself after boot which works and external devices can discover the Bluetooth link and read the device name and pair etc. Does anyone know how this couldīe? BTD0: is not mounted though indicating that it's being loaded in due to another means. I've also tried updating the various btd.dll references in the registry to btd1.dll but there are presumably several hardcoded links to btd.dll in drivers and so the btd.dll module ends up still being loaded somehow. I'm wanting to be able to update the Microsoft Bluetooth drivers on deployed Windows CE 6 devices without having to reflash the OS with a new NK.bin.īecause btd.dll is in the \Windows folder from the ROM it is not possible to delete it or rename it and then replace it with an updated dll unless there is a way of overriding the ROM version of the dll with a local version?
